We’ve decided to experiment with a new YouTube show! Check out the pilot episode of WWEDVDNews TV (name may change), hosted by Aaron Carnevale.
Subscribe if you’d like to see more and don’t forget to leave a comment with your feedback. Tweaks will be made as we go forward but we hope to make it a regular series.

What!?!?!?!?!?!?!? No more typing Bold!?!?!?!?!?!? This is BS!!!!! Let! Me! Type! Bold!!!!!!!!!!!!
No Charisma is my biggest problem. The jokes fall flat without charisma behind them. Just talking. Without Charisma and personality from the “Host” of the video it’s better off just being written and not viewed.
Feedback positive and negative is honestly welcomed. If the show looks amateur… well, that’s because we are not pros in this field. Does it look more amateur than your average Youtuber talking wrestling? This project stemmed from me thinking it’d be a nice to give the site it’s own show, then thinking Aaron would be good in that role. I think it turned out pretty good for a FIRST try. I really do mean first. We didn’t have other drafts lined up, this is it. It’s meant to have obvious ‘jumpy’ edits to new topics. Potential, I think. Bound to improve.
Are you talking to me? lol
Come on guys, try not to be so harsh. Mr. Carnevale isn’t trying to be Robert DeNiro here, it’s a short video about some WWE DVD News. Giving him acting tips is taking it a little over the top I think.
DB hate + Rock hate = riot.
To the guy always commenting in bold. One too many times. I asked nicely now you’re done, son.
I dont see how Attitude era footage (TV14) would be an issue anymore WWE has relaxed a lot on that in the past few months and we’ve seen a few TV14 releases. Also Raw was rated PG well into fall 1998 (while the PPVs if the time were TV14).
Nice, looking forward to it. To bad the host loves Fruity Pebles
#TeamBringIt All…..Damn…Day.
Just watched, great idea to include all the news into one handy little place..
Just my thoughts, keep it short, I personally wouldn’t want to watch anything too long, maybe keep it to 5 minutes. The editing seemed a bit jumpy but that wasn’t too distracting, like said before maybe try to do each segment in one shot rather than cutting in between.
Also maybe a little background picture rather than a black wall.. even just a WWEDVDNEWs.com logo.
Still have to give props for giving this ago, its not something I would want to do.
But overall, a nice addition to the site. Oh and I’m with Daniel…Team Bring It….. sending Cena away everynow and again would be a nice change.
I would love to see a Greatest Rivalries DVD on the Von Erich-Freebird fued.
Very amateur! I get the feeling it may have been edited once or twice. LOL! Aaron “One Take” Carneval you ain’t.
The ECW philosophy was if you don’t do it well, hide it – accentuate the positives, hide the negatives. I think this is one negative which should be hidden.
Way to many cuts and edited badly. That was 7:36 of cuts and edits very boring and as much as I love the site you need to ax the youtube show or come up with a better concept. I know That little joe somo could put out a way better wrestling show than that……
Thanks for the feedback guys!
I really appreciate the responses.
I’m a lomg time reader but this is my first comment. This is not bad, beats that lame ass shaun blackford, shaun sucks, I would rather watch paint dry then listen to that chump.
I’d just like to know wen we’l know mre bout GREATEST RIVLARIES/HHH, HBK Superstar BLU-RAY’S
I’m impressed
This will be a great video series. Great recap of recent activity on the site, and I think the tone of the video is perfect and fits with everything else the site does quite well.
Love the idea behind the show; why read articles when someone can TELL you the news?
I know this was only a pilot episode, and there are no doubt always gonna be problems with such things (been there, done that, still working on issues to this day lol), but I just wanted to give some (hopefully) friendly and constructive feedback
.
Firstly, there were quite a few cuts/edits there. Understandable that you might not be able to remember big paragraphs of script all the time (again, been there, done that, still working on it myself), or if you are just reading notes its sometimes hard to keep going without screwing up, but its always best to keep doing takes until you get as much as possible done in one go to avoid so many quick cuts and edits.
Also, I noticed you were using your hands a lot to talk. This is sometime a lot of people do, and it helps the viewer see that you are enthusiastic about what you are talking about and it gives off an energy that helps people keep watching. Trouble was, we couldn’t see! Every now and then a hand pops up from a certain hand movement, but that was it. Maybe try and fit more of your body into the shot to allow this to be seen?
That’s about all I wanted to say I think. Hope some of it can be helpful for you
.
Loved it! Really great stuff.
No one likes DB huh? lol very nice video. Made me laugh a few times. Mr. Carnevale is a good host, but come WM you and the rest of Team Cena will smell what the Rock…. is cookin… They actually make John Cena cologne lol
