  2. john peterson says:

Cool that they brought Todd back to host this set.He was always enjoyable to watch in the mid 90s.I do hope they put matches like The four way from Final 4,Austin Vs Bret from Revenge of the Taker,Rock Vs Triple H From Fully Loaded 98,HBK Vs Shamrock from IYH,DX,and Michaels Vs Owen from Rage in the Cage IYH

  3. Big Greg says:

This has potential to be a great set, I hope they include DX IYH Shawn Michaels vs Ken Shamrock.

  4. Devin McDickington says:

I love the IYH Greatest Hits idea. WWE can literally have Vols of this type of box set

I would really like to see them do a year by year PPV anthology on DVD (like put the entire Valentines Day Massacre on DVD) but his is a start.

  5. NickP says:

Having Todd host this is a nice move by WWE to have someone who was really a big part of the In Your House ppv’s in ’95, ’96, ‘and ’97. To have Michael Hayes become Dok Hendrix one more time to co-host would be epic.

  6. Gabriel says:

I’m really looking forward to this set and it has potential to one of the best for 2013, but hopefully the don’t screw up the match listing like they did with the Best of King of the Ring.

This IS NOT the real match listing but more of what I would like to see on the Best of IYH:

Great choice for host! Todd could be corny at times, but that was part of his charm…and at a time when the WWF was heavily marketed to kids (pre-attitude), Todd was a perfect fit. Todd, although far from a wrestling historian, brought a lot of energy to the broadcasts and never disrespected the business like other outsiders from radio/tv. Welcome back Todd.

  8. Avatar of Scott Scott says:

Todd hosting this is cool and all. I really hope they restrained themselves from putting HBK/Mankind and the Cell match with HBK/Taker on yet another set. I feel like I own 50 copies of those two matches.

    • Vincenzzzzzo says:

As far as I’m concerned, two of the BEST matches from In Your House SHOULD definitely be on the “Best of In Your House” DVD set. Just my opinion.

      • Avatar of David David says:

I agree, it really defeats the purpose of calling it “The Best of In Your House” by not including two of the best IYH matches.

From what i gathered, HIAC with HBK/Taker were on four previous releases (one being OOP):

        Undertaker: This is My Yard
        From the Vault: Shawn Michaels
        Tombstone: History of the Undertaker
Hell in a Cell 3 Disc DVD

and HBK/Mankind are on the following (one being OOP):

Mick Foley Hard Knocks and Cheap Pops
Mick Foley’s Greatest Hits and Misses
        From the Vault: Shawn Michaels
        History of the WWE Championship

Its not that bad…don’t get why people say these matches are on 10 different releases. Each of the those matches were on four different DVD releases the last ten years.

  9. Mike says:

Well, that nixes that purchase. He was the most annoying of an annoying lot.

  10. Mr Z says:

I’m hoping they focus more on the early years, the 2 hour shows. Maybe the fact that those were the years Todd was around for is a good sign.

  11. james wilson says:

when is the match listing and such going to be up???

  12. John says:

That is good news! Best of Your House should be one of the best DVDs/Blu-Ray of the year!

  13. Scsa says:

Todd was great! I really miss him, Sean Moony & Mean Gean!

    • Scsa says:

Im happy to see that so many people like my comment of missing Todd Pettengill, Sean Mooney & Mean Gean and it would be great to c some matches too that include Sean n Gean Oakerland too!

  14. AJ says:

Todd actually stopped me after In Your House in Dec. 1995 as my family was leaving because he needed directions. I think there was still dark matches going on, but the PPV was over. He was extremely nice and I could ask him was when Shawn Michaels was coming back (this was after Owen kicked him in the head).

  15. Jammer says:

I already had so much excitement for this DVD/Blu Ray set initially but now knowing that Todd will be hosting it just sweetens the pot so much more!!

I was 14 years old when the first In Your House happened, and I know when I buy this set and watch it that it will totally take me back to that era of my life.

  16. MR DVD says:

Yeah i have all of the IYH collection through Tagged Classics but i think i will have to buy this just to hear what Todd has to say while looking back through the years.

  17. wrestlingfan says:

sweet they need to sign sunny to co-host

  18. Brad Attitude says:

    Woooooo!

  19. Thomas Goodearl says:

Wow, this guy practically hosted In Your House PPV’s with Doc Hendrix (Michael Hayes) as well, it wouldn’t be classic In Your House without him and it’s great WWE got him and it’s great he agreed to do it, even with my Tagged Classics I might still buy this bad boy, lol

  20. j says:

Damn thats Awesome. Gonna be epic seeing Todd again

  21. neverAcquiesce says:

Day. One. Purchase. I’m gonna feel like a friggin’ 12-year-old again, watching the Free-For-All on the Prevue channel and *listening* to the scrambled PPV broadcast.

  22. Matt says:

Holy s*it!!! This is a definite dvd set buy for me then!!! I loved the IYH series and Todd Pettingill is a worthy host for this series!!!

  23. NoNoNo says:

He looks bare old in that pic, Looking forward to the blu-ray edition just to have the matches in hd blu-ray, todd hosting should be lot of fun!!
