Batista’s dvd looks good I guess…. I’m loving the matches! Never have been a HUGE fan of Batista, but his dvd looks kind of promising.

It’s funny how everyone couldn’t wait for Batista to return before the Royal Rumble. I remember reading the dirt sheets for months before it was announced he would be returning, and I saw nothing but praise for the guy. Comes back and wins the Rumble instead of their hero Daniel Bryan, and all of a sudden “Boo-tista sucks” blah blah blah.

I CAN’T stand 90% of internet wrestling fans.

Thats true. People hated on Batista people they think he “stole” their precious D-Bray’s spot.

The IWC were praising the guy the last couple of years and were even thinking of dream matches when Batista came back like vs. CM Punk, Brock Lesnar and Daniel Bryan.

Its the same way with the Rock. Since 2005 everyone wanted the Rock back in WWE up until 2011, but again turned their back on him because he beat CM Punk.

I wish I still had batista I walk alone, not putting jbl vs batista from summerslam sucks
and orton vs him at extreme rules man that match sucked but im still getting this he
really never feuded with Punk well theres more then 1 mysterio match needed.

Ahh I thought I wouldnt need to have Batista – I walk alone when this comes out man
I still wish I can re get it. Theres only one dub that I know of is that the Batista vs. Booker T vs Finlay match from smackdown dec 1 2006. Dam I picked up ortons set for 10 bucks and wal-mart list batista 1st set for 5 bucks wish I could get it. and theres not much triple h bouts on here.

Bleh I will still get this but I’m only interested in the first disc. WWE from 2007 on has been so bland and homogenous that everything looks like a blur. Hopefully the blu-ray exclusives will have more stuff from 2002-2006 specifically from Evolution.

Got the same issue with this I have with Warrior’s set. Just not a fan of the guy’s ring work with a few exceptions. Might check out the documentary if/when it goes on the network, but don’t think I’ll be buying this one.

Looks like I’ll be buying the OVW match on iTunes, and no more.

You can do that? Whoa, I didn’t even know that.

WWE obviously took into heavy consideration the matches that were released on the first set and I’m glad they did. Pretty good selections here as most matches are coming from Smackdown and TV. Nice set.

Looks pretty good. Hadn’t anticipated buying this, but having seen the match listing, I likely will now. Even some of the repeats are matches that haven’t previously been released in HD. The only match I’d have liked included that wasn’t was the Unforgiven 2007 match.

Curiously, the triple threat with Booker and Finlay was also on Batista’s first DVD. But it’s the only repeat from that set.

Disc 2 looks pretty awesome and has a lot of matches I wanted. I would have also added these matches!

    vs. Triple H – Backlash 2005
w/ John Cena vs. King Booker & Finlay – Armageddon 2006
vs. The Great Khali vs. Rey Mysterio – Unforgiven 2007
vs. The Undertaker (Hell in a Cell) – Survivor Series 2007
vs. Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk vs. The Undertaker – Bragging Rights 2009
vs. John Cena (Last Man Standing) – Extreme Rules 2010

I wanted this match on the set……

Steel Cage Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
      Undertaker vs. Batista
      SmackDown!- May 16, 2007

However, there are a lot of unreleased content on here so I will still buy it.

The documentary is terrible, it should begin from the start of his wrestling career to the present time. His matches also look rather boring apart from maybe 2 or 3.

Already a documentary covering his beginnings up until around the time he got injured before his heel turn in 2009. This one looks like it will cover his last year in WWE before he quit in 2010 and then what he did after and his return.

It’s like a continuation from the 1st doc it seems.

Yeah, I like that idea. If CM Punk ever comes back, he could use one. Jericho, HBK and Eddie Guerrero could use one, too.

I’ll pass but at least the match selection is much better than on the previous set.

Uhhh… what exactly is “Titus O’Neil Package” and why is it going to be on Batista’s set?

    • Jason
      May 2, 2014

I think Batista & Titus O’Neil were neighbours and Batista suggested he tried wrestling

Wow!! This comes as a huge shock!! Only 8 Repeats!! All making their Match Compilation/Documentary debut!! A lot more unreleased content was shown!! I was hoping for Batista vs. Shawn Michaels from Armageddon 2003: Evolution of the Game, but the unreleased matches are worth the price of the Blu-Ray alone!!

    • Joseph De Feo

Batista vs. Shawn from Armageddon 2003 was released on “I Walk Alone”
