This week, we will be looking back at some of the segments featured on the Coliseum Video releases in the early 90′s. Just what do WWF stars get up to outside of the ring?

Featured on Wrestlefest 1992, The Berzerker (with some help from Mr Fuji) tells you all you need to know; from the invites, to the entertainment, to the food, in ‘How to Throw a Party’. Huss! Huss! Huss!
‘El Matador’ Tito Santana provides us with a cultural insight to his homeland with a fiesta in celebration of his return home to Mexico in ‘At Home with El Matador’.
This segment released as part of World Tour 1992 made you believe Tito really was a bull fighter. Yes you guessed it, El Matador in all his glory enters the bullring to take on the fierce El Toro. You wouldn’t want to mess with Tito Santana after you’ve seen this. Arriba!!!
Now talking of Bulls this next segment featured on the 1993 Coliseum Video Smack ‘Em Whack ‘Em sees Yokozuna starring in ‘Cooking for the Single Man’.
Mean Gene joins Mr Fuji and Yokozuna for dinner. While Yokozuna is polishing off enough Sushi, Rice and Ribeye Steak to feed Japan, Mr Fuji tells Coliseum Video fans how all of this food makes Yokozuna stronger everyday. Yokozuna doesn’t like to wait for his food. Even Mean Gene gives him his leftovers.
If you remember WWF Grudge Matches you’ll remember ‘Repo Cam’. Repo Man, the kind criminal that he is, decides to make a video for Coliseum fans on his typical day at work. But wait!
First he needs a camera. So he hits a trailer park and takes one from a kind family filming their baby. Then he steals a car from a complete stranger… or was that WWF referee at the time Bill Alfonso? Hmmmm! Anyway, he drives to the video store and let’s just say Repo Man must have patience because the woman who works there, she ain’t nice!
Finally in Bashed in the USA from 1993, Bret Hart Art shows off his talent for drawing cartoons. Starting with the Undertaker and finishing with Hulk Hogan, The Hitman lets us know that drawing someone’s obvious features like a big chin or nose is essential in cartooning their character. It’s a good job Repo Man isn’t round or that sketch book would be gone!

The good old days!
When I was very very little I used to watch these and think, “Bad guys like Papa Shango and the Berzerker must do drugs.”
Now you’re older and realize the good guys do too! lol.
When i watched these as a kid, i loved these segments.
I remember the Supertapes that had Sean Mooney in ridiculous skits, which were pretty damn funny.
I remember Supertape Vol 1 had a Lord Alfred Hayes segment called “The Call Of The Action with Lord Alfred Hayes”. He watches a series of wrestling moves from a squash match, then excitedly calls most of the moves by the wrong name. I loved this segment.
Instead of a Superstars collectors series, bring back old vhs tapes on dvd.. I think all old school wrestling fans would agree

Best Coliseum Corner yet! I loved these segments. I always get mad at people who say they were lame or ‘WrestleCrap’. Lighten up for God’s sake, it was fun when you were kids!
